Norman is an avid fan of magic and prior to Mary’s Diagnosis worked several paying dates on a regular basis. He recently re-started the local magic club (www.fresno-magic.com) in an effort to reach out to young people who need support from older established magicians as well
as providing a place for all magicians to simply socialize with like minded people.
The Fresno Club has a web page, www.fresno-magic.com. The club is open to anyone interested in magic in the area. Members come from Visalia to Ceres to attend meetings. Norman’s good friend and long time magician store owner, and magic promoter Paul Gross runs Hocus Pocus Magic, Inc. a world renown magic emporium in Fresno at hocus-pocus.com where the beginner will find everything they need to get started in magic and the working professional will find professional grade props as well as one-of-a-kind antiques for their collections.
Norman’s emphasis has always been on close-up magic and he still does an occasional event for charity working tables and small groups.
